Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 30 reviews.

Before the tool, I used a lacrosse ball for muscle knots here and there. After months of built up body tension from heavy gym training and a high stress job, I thought I’d give this a shot. I opened the package and proceeded to use the tool for an hour straight, as I slowly worked through pretty much every muscle group. I remember seeing the price initially and being hesitant, but it has been a phenomenal investment for me already. I’d recommend this product to anyone.

It’s more than I had hoped for, the uses are limited only by your imagination. My I.T bands are loosing up and this lever works perfectly.

Still figuring out how to hit all point but so far getting nice release of the traps

I bought the body lever as a gift for my son. He absolutely loves it.

BodyLever Massage Tool

Wow! The body lever is the end all be all in massage tools, especially if you crave "a bigger hammer". I'm now a little old lady in my mid-60's and at one time worked for the government at various stressful desk jobs. Then in my mid-50's I changed career paths to become a massage therapist which crippled me differently but was much more useful to my fellow man. Now I'm retired from everything and am healing myself. The body lever is an integral part of that process. Thank you for this most wonderful invention which would also prove useful for home security.

Love this tool! Because of BJJ and strength work, I wind up hurting in all kinds of strange places that foam rollers and LAX balls can't reach. This has become my go-to for tissue work, and the only downside is that I didn't start sooner.

BodyLever Massage Tool

With this great tool I can easily target stuck tissues and reach out to soothe sore muscles anywhere in my body using different techniques this simple tool makes available for selfmassage. I love the leverage to easily add as much pressure as I wish. I use it everyday at least on my neck, shoulder areas and back and my legs. It arrived within one week of order to my home in The Netherlands!

BodyLever Massage Tool

Absolutely worth it. Probably have spent over $2k on recovery tools. This one is by far my favorite. It doesn't depend on gravity like most toola but uses long levers to provide a high amount of leverage to get into some deep areas.

BodyLever Massage Tool

Amazing product shipped all the way to the UK - this is actually my second order and I’ll probably order more for friends and family!

Body Lever Massage Tool

Amazing recovery tool! I find myself picking it up every day to target tight spots and maintain range of motion/flexibility.

Body Lever Massage Tool

I've only had the Body Lever for about 2 weeks and I already rate it higher than both my vibration plate and massage gun for overall impact to health and wellness. It's that good. Complete game-changer. It's even more impressive because it's such a simple tool. Can't recommend highly enough

Body Lever Massage Tool

The Body lever is able to find and treat areas in the upper and lower legs that other tools just don’t. Trust me, I have an extensive collection of myofascial release tools. I am still discovering new body positions to allow the Body Lever to works its magic. It’s wonderful!

The body lever might be my favorite fitness-related purchase ever. I have a theragun, theracane, and foam roller for soft tissue work, but honestly I don't think I'll be reaching for any of those again. They always left a little to be desired or were hard to reach certain areas. The body lever digs in to places I didn't even expect. I end up using it for longer sessions than I plan on because it just feels great. The only area that's a little hard to reach is the lower and mid back, but that might be possible with a little more practice. Either way I would easily purchase this again.

Body Lever Massage Tool

Great product, the levers let you create as much pressure as you want! The little prong lets you do deep tissue, its more expensive but way better thsn foam roller or lacrosse ball

Body Lever Massage Tool

Body lever is perfect for myofascial release when you don’t have help.

Body Lever Massage Tool

It is amazing and absolutely love it!! The only thing is we ordered 2 and only got 1. Is there anything we need to do to get the other one shipped to us?

Body Lever Massage Tool

Amazing product. Worth the weight. I do a lot of kettlebell and sandbag lifting. My forearms and upper arms tend to get quite tight. The body lever releases them so effectively. Super happy with this product!

Body Lever Massage Tool

I didn't think that it would be such an amazing massager, as a person that doesn't like to spend their money, I have to say that it was worth every penny.

Body Lever Massage Tool

You won’t regret buying this. Beautifully made, sturdy, robust and light, and practical. The amount of pressure you can get with this thing is amazing. And will save you money from having to go to a masseuse regularly. Highly recommend

★★★☆☆ (rating reflects disclosure gaps, not the tool itself) Don't let the star rating fool you — this is a masterful tool for soft tissue work, if you know how to use it. The use of leverage is intuitive, but there's a hidden learning curve that can reduce both its effectiveness and its lifespan if you don't understand what's happening mechanically. My background: Elite Trainer at commercial gyms (8 years), Darby Level 2 certified, PNF stretch certified, practicing Massage Therapist. Here's what I think deserves more disclosure for a soft tissue product in this price range, intended for everyday people rather than practitioners: 1. Clothing changes the mechanics. Using it over clothing creates a choppy glide that dramatically reduces its ability to maintain even compression as it rolls or moves over tissue and clumped clothing. Start light and work deeper gradually to avoid crushing muscle — and work knots from the outside in, along with the surrounding/supporting tissue, not just the knot itself. 2. Shorter, more frequent sessions beat one long one. Prolonged use can reduce blood flow, especially when clamping the calf or thigh to create deep pressure — which is actually one of the techniques shown in TheBodyLever's own how-to guide. The first few times I used it on my legs, my feet tingled and went numb. That was a user error on my part, but I'd bet other people make the same mistake, because nothing in their materials flags numbness or tingling as a signal to stop. Their only stated "stop" cue is sharp or intense pain. 3. Contraindications exist on their site, but they're a catch-all, not a list. They do say to check with a doctor before use if pregnant, or if you have any health questions before starting something new. But for a compression tool, a generic "ask your doctor" doesn't do the job that a specific high risk list would: blood thinners, DVT, varicose veins, and swelling are the ones I can think of right now where deep, sustained compression can be dangerous, and none of them are named. I didn't go looking for this in the packaging itself, so I can't speak to what's printed there — but it wasn't something I recall seeing. 4. The rope will fray at the contact points — plan for it, but IMO, this is a design flaw. Over time, chafing can progress to the rope snapping mid-use, which is a real risk if you're leaning into firm pressure when it lets go. Knowing how to inspect the rope for wear should be part of the onboarding, not something you discover the hard way. I also don’t see a replacement rope kit or instructions on how to replace a new rope correctly. 5. The wood seems to want conditioning — but the website rules against it. Unless the wood is fully sealed with something like epoxy, an unconditioned hardwood tool will eventually dry out, and micro-cracks can open at the pressure points over time (I’m already seeing lines that weren’t there before, and I’ve had it for 2-3 weeks). TheBodyLever's care instructions say to wipe the wood with a dry or slightly damp cloth, water only, and to skip anything else, including oils. That's the opposite of what I'd expect for long-term wood care, and I don't know if that's because their specific finish reacts badly to oil, or if it's just conservative liability language. Regardless, none of this changes my recommendation. I still tell everyone I know with chronic soft tissue issues to get one — it's the best one-stop tool for body care I've come across. But it's built with the assumption that the user already has some bodywork literacy, and at this price point, serving everyday consumers means the manual needs to catch people who don't have that background. A page on wear inspection, a real contraindication list, and clarity on wood/rope care would take this from "great tool if you know what you're doing" to "great tool, period."

As far as functionality is concerned this thing is great. Feels really good on my body and helps relieve tension from Muay Thai and MMA. And for durability, the rope literally snapped on me 3 days into using. For $200 plus price point that is ridiculous. I reached out to customer service to see if they’ll replace it cuz I do wanna give it a second chance maybe I just received a bad one.
